Introducing BACT
Battle Area Community Transport (BACT) was founded in 1999 in response to the need for
regular transport serving the inabitants of rural areas of East Sussex. We provide regular friendly bus
services centred on Battle, Burwash and Ticehurst, travelling to the following villages: Ashburnham,
Battle, Brede, Broad Oak, Etchingham, Mountfield, Robertsbridge, Netherfield, Sedlescombe,
Ticehurst and Westfield.
We also operate Flexible Bus Services, providing a wide range of pick-up/set down points to meet
customer requirements, for our popular trips to Ashford, Eastbourne, Tunbridge Wells, Tenterden and
Rye.
We regret that we do not offer any Patient Transportation Services
outside of our regular or flexible bus services. Please contact
South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust on
0300 1230999.
